The Affective Atlas Project is being undertaken under the umbrella of the Geo-Placed Knowl-
edge Research Initiative, which is part of RMIT's Design Research Institute. The research pro-
ject is supported in part by an Australian Research Council linkage grant (linkage grant ID
LP0883291) and an RMIT postgraduate award.
Parks Victoria is a collaborator on both the research project described in this paper and the over-
arching Affective Atlas project, and provides both financial and in-kind support including use of
data, facilities and the expert knowledge and assistance of its staff members.
