23.3.5 Internal Lining
According to the results of FE analyses the single-track tube could be designed with a
45 cm thick internal lining. For the double-track tube a 100 cm thick internal lining was
required. Figure 23.18 shows the reinforcement of these linings (Wittke 1978, Wittke &
Pierau 1979).
