Seepage flow in the rock mass due to small discontinuity apertures and hydraulic gra-
dients in most cases can be considered as laminar (Section 6.3.1), so the permeability
coefficient should be determined for laminar flow conditions. Therefore the red lines
in the plots in Fig. 15.26 assuming laminar flow are recommended to be used for test
interpretation (DGEG 1984c).
