3.3.2.1 System description
A solar PV/T system studied is shown in Figure 3.3.6. Solar flux hits the surface of the
system which is photovoltaic (PV) panels. As solar flux comes in contact with the PV
panels, the molecules inside the panels start to vibrate and they produce power. Due
to high solar flux falling on the PV panels, the back surface of the PV panels is heated
up and that is the heat which is utilized to produce hot air. The air is allowed to pass
through the duct of the PV/T system in order to act as a cooling medium for PV panels.
The air passing through the duct gains heat from the PV panels and its temperature
