above. As we consider the information infrastructure, this model describes the “life
cycle” of information. The various parts of information's life are listed below:

Following is a brief description of each of these steps or stages of the inform-
ation transfer cycle. This model is explained in more detail in Greer, Grover, and
Fowler (2013).
Creation
