• Now browse your way northwest, along some lively and colorful streets.
First backtrack two blocks up James Street, then continue straight (along the side of Marks
& Spencer) up narrow Neal Street. Head two blocks up Neal Street, passing through an
up-and-coming shopping zone. Turn left on Short's Gardens, and find the tight alley (on
the right) leading to the cozy, funky, psychedelically painted courtyard called
Neal's Yard,
with a thriving veggie restaurant scene (see
