KIND OF A SORE-CEROR'S SUBJECT
Since early 2012, visitors to Walt
Disney World have been enjoying Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, an inter-
active role-playing game where guests use magic spell cards to defeat vari-
ous Disney villains. Disneyland fans have been asking when Sorcerers will
be showing up at their theme park, and the answer is that it won't. Most of
the streets inside of Disneyland Park are so narrow (coupled with the tens of
thousands of people who visit this theme park every day) that it just wouldn't
be smart or safe to set up a questing game like this inside of “The Happi-
est Place on Earth.” But Disney California Adventure, with its ridiculously
wide performance corridors, would be the ideal setting for this sort of role-
play-your-way-around-a-theme-parkinteractiveentertainment.TheImagineers
