In-Depth Information
THE DISNEYLAND PARK TOURING PLANS are step-by-step plans for seeing as much as
possible with a minimum of time wasted standing in line. They are designed to assist
you in avoiding crowds and bottlenecks on days of moderate to heavy attendance. On
days of lighter attendance (see Selecting the Time of Year for Your Visit ,”), the plans
will still save you time but will not be as critical to successful touring.
Choosing the Right Touring Plan
Six different touring plans are presented:
• One-Day Touring Plan for Adults
• Author's Select One-Day Touring Plan
• Dumbo-or-Die-in-a-Day Touring Plan for Adults with Small Children
• Two-Day Touring Plan for Adults with Small Children
• Two-Day Touring Plan A, for Daytime Touring or for When the Park Closes
Early (before 8 p.m.)
• Two-Day Touring Plan B, for Morning and Evening Touring or for When
the Park Is Open Late (after 8 p.m.)
If you have two days to spend at Disneyland Park, the two-day touring plans are by
far the most relaxed and efficient. The Two-Day Touring Plan A takes advantage of
early-morning touring,whenlines areshortandtheparkhasnotyetfilled withguests.
This plan works well all year and is particularly recommended for days when Dis-
neyland Park closes before 8 p.m. On the other hand, Two-Day Touring Plan B com-
bines the efficiencies of early-morning touring on the first day with the splendor of
Disneyland Park at night on the second day. This plan is perfect for guests who wish
to sample both the attractions and the special magic of Disneyland Park after dark,
including Fantasmic!, parades, and fireworks. The Two-Day Touring Plan for Adults
with Small Children spreads the experience over two more-relaxed days and incor-
porates more attractions that both children and parents will enjoy.
For readers who have requested a Three-Day Park Hopper Touring Plan, we
recommend using the Two-Day Disneyland Park Touring Plan of your choice and
mixing it with the One-Day Disney California Adventure Touring Plan as you see
fit. Enter Disneyland Park first, and then when DCA opens, send a runner across
the Esplanade with your entire group's tickets. Because the Fastpass systems of the
two parks are disconnected, you can collect Fastpasses for World of Color, Radiator
Springs Racers, and a third DCA attraction simultaneously with any you've already
claimed in Disneyland Park (such as Space or Splash Mountains). Just keep an eye on
your return windows when juggling cross-park Fastpasses, as attendants will enforce
the expiration times.
