In-Depth Information
FROM DANCING NATIVES TO DANCING ON BROADWAY You wouldn't
expect to find many musical theater fans out here in the jungle. But there must
be at least one musical fan who handles the props for this Adventureland at-
traction. If you look closely as your tramp steamer moves from the Hippo Pool
to the Dancing Natives, you should see a series of shields on the ground be-
hind those animatronic tribesmen who are chanting and dancing in a circle. Do
you see the one with the stylized lion head on it? Does the image on that shield
look familiar? It should. It's the logo for Disney's long-running hit Broadway
musical The Lion King.
