DESCRIPTION AND COMMENTS
Awarmandwell-presentedremembranceofthemanwho
started it all. Well worth seeing; especially touching for those old enough to remember
Walt Disney himself. The attraction consists of a museum of Disney memorabilia. Espe-
cially interesting arerotating Disney Gallery displays ofconcept artworkandhistorical ar-
tifacts, most recently honoring the
Enchanted Tiki Room
's 50th anniversary. A short film
starring comedian (and former Disneyland cast member) Steve Martin and Donald Duck,
originally created to celebrate the park's 50th anniversary in 2005, screens in the lobby as
a preshow. Beyond the Disney memorabilia, guests are admitted to a large theater where
Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln
is presented. A patriotic performance,
Great Moments
stars an extremely lifelike and sophisticated Audio-Animatronics Abe Lincoln delivering
an amalgamation of his notable speeches (though the over-familiar “Gettysburg Address”
is not recited in full) as originally recorded by Royal Dano for the 1964 World's Fair. Lin-
coln's recently upgraded head is stunningly emotive, capable of wrinkling his brow and
pursing his lips with unrivaled realism. New surround sound effects and songs borrowed
from Epcot's
American Adventure
add to this brief but inspiring biography of America's
16th president.

DESCRIPTION AND COMMENTS
An opening-day attraction, this small theater shows six
classic Disney cartoons simultaneously. Early black-and-white Mickey Mouse shorts such
as “Steamboat Willie” and “Plane Crazy” are screened, along with the celebrity carica-
ture-stocked oddity “Mickey's Polo Team.” The films are played at a low enough volume
that the theater remains a quiet respite from the rest of the park.
