Great Eats in and around Anaheim
BEST BURGER
In-N-Out Burger 600 S. Brookhurst St., Anaheim; 800-786-1000; in-n-
out.com . This small family-owned chain is the gold standard for burgers. Ham-
burgers, cheeseburgers, fries, and shakes are all it offers—and nobody does them
better. Ask for the Double-Double (double meat, double cheese), “animal” style
(heavy on all the condiments).
BEST CHINESE
Grand China Restaurant 575 W. Chapman Ave., Anaheim; 714-740-1888.

menu's pretty standard, but what it does, it does well—and with a big smile. The
broccoli with beef and sweet-and-sour chicken are first-rate.

loyal following.
