OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS Health-conscious diners will love the café's salads, such as
theLobsterCobbSalad(withavocado,bacon,tomato,andbluecheesetoppedbyalow-fat
citrus-chive vinaigrette). The grilled chicken sandwich, with caramelized onion, tomato,
and cheese, is great.
SUMMARY AND COMMENTS You may experience a little sticker shock at first, but there's
real value here. It's not quite on par with Napa Rose across the way, but the same ded-
ication to quality and originality is evident from the menu to the service. Kids will find
lots to like about the menu, along with enough distractions between the colorful menus,
murals, and character visits to let the adults enjoy a wide range of California wine coun-
try-inspired menu options (from pastas to steaks to fresh fish) and a leisurely cocktail or
glass of wine. Dinner gives diners the option to order from the menu or visit the buffet.
You'll want to save some room for dessert too—who could pass up warm seasonal-fruit
cobbler heaped with vanilla ice cream or a warm chocolate brownie?

SUMMARY AND COMMENTS Recently remodeled along with the rest of the Disneyland
Hotel, this poolside eatery has something for everyone, as long as everyone enjoys food
with an Asian/Polynesian flare. Adults can enjoy a cocktail (maybe something a little
exotic with fruit garnish and little pink umbrellas) while kids frolic in the nearby pool in
between bites. The adjoining Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar serves exotic cocktails and
Asian-inspired appetizers in an intimate and elaborately decorated environment reminis-
cent of Walt Disney World's extinct Adventurers Club. Order an Uh Oa, Krakatoa Punch,
or Shipwreck on the Rocks to see some explosive special effects. The hotel's best bet for
late-night snacks are Sam's panko-crusted long beans or sweet and spicy Asian wings. If
