In-Depth Information
At Buena Vista Street, Clarabelle's Hand-Scooped Ice Cream serves hand-
dipped ice cream bars coated in sprinkles, chocolate, nuts, and Pop Rocks, as well
as chocolate-dipped waffle cones. This ice cream parlor adjoining the Fiddler,
Fifer & Practical Café offers hand-scooped Dreyer's desserts from an old-fash-
ioned soda fountain counter. For a few extra bucks, your sundae can be served in
a souvenir trolley-shaped dish. Go ahead and splurge on a second scoop; it's only
50¢ more.
Trolley Treats, also located at Buena Vista Street, is a classic candy shop with
an exposed kitchen, where you can watch taffy, marshmallows, fudge, and other
sweets being made. Candied apples shaped like Cars characters are especially
cute. Check out the Big Rock Candy Mountain model in the window, inspired by
plans for a never-built Disneyland attraction.
Mortimer's Market is the closest place to the park entrance to get a snack. This
grab-and-go location is named after Walt's original appellation for his animated
mouse; Walt's wife urged him to make it Mickey instead. Cold drinks and fresh
fruit are available here.
At Cars Land, counter-service dining includes Fillmore's Taste-In, Cozy Cone
Motel , and Flo's V8 Café . Fillmore's Taste-In offers fruit juices, bottled water,
and other healthy snacks. Located inside a geodesic dome near the Cars Land en-
trance, this grab-and-go snack bar is themed after the groovy VW microbus char-
acter voiced by the late George Carlin.
