alsoincorporate aprotrusiononthetopofthefemale cableconnectorthatfitsintoanotch
intheshroudsurroundingthematingmaleconnectoronthedevice.Theuseofkeyedcon-
nectors and cables is highly recommended. Plugging an ATA cable in backward normally
doesn't cause permanent damage; however, it can lock up the system and prevent it from
running.
