Sixth-Generation (P6 Pentium Pro/II/III Class) Chipsets
Because the Pentium Pro, Celeron, and Pentium II/III were essentially the same processor
with different cache designs andminor internal revisions, the same chipsets could beused
for Socket 8 (Pentium Pro), Socket 370 (Celeron/Pentium III), and Slot 1 (Celeron/Penti-
um II/III) designs.
