INTRODUCING HTML5 AUDIO
AND VIDEO
A simple idea underpins HTML5's audio and video sup-
port. Just as you can add images to a web page with the
<img> element, you should be able to insert sound with
an <audio> element and video with a <video> element.
Logically enough, HTML5 adds both.
