Results obtained by DE method were evaluated by applying a coefficient of
determination R 2 . The coefficient of determination R 2 was derived for eight simulated
breakthrough curves. The obtained values are between 0.991 and 0.999, which means
that obtained parameter sets give acceptable results ( R 2
