A Hitman's Approach to Ethics
Editing a contributed topic is often not an easy process, and chapters are often
delayed. One of the authors sent me a couple of emails with the subject heading
'almost hitman time' and told me that if he did not make the promised deadline,
I had his permission to hire an assassin. I replied that unfortunately institutional
budget cuts meant that there were no longer funds available for hiring assassins and
that this might also be counter to institutional ethics policies.
