In this example, if you want to keep the right and bottom edges of the
connector static when the connector changes size, you would need to write
a formula for the connector dimension parameter. For example, with a
parameter that defines the connector width, such as SupplyWidth, the left
edge of the connector can be made to stay at 0′-8″ (200 mm) from the
left edge of the equipment by using a formula for the Supply Loc Horiz
parameter, as shown in Figure 19.12 .

When you have equipment that has several pipe connectors, it is helpful to
create geometry for the connectors. Otherwise, you would have to define a
referenceplaneforeachconnectorunlesstheyallconnectatthesameplane.
With geometry used to indicate a point of connection, you can dimension
and constrain the geometry and then use the Face option for connector
