settings as a view template. If you are working in a 3D view, the dialog box
also has a Background setting.

The View Control Bar, shown in Figure 1.33 , essentially remains the same as
the previous version, with the options for scale, level of detail, visual style,
sun path, shadows, rendering, view crop, and crop region visible. The ability
to save and lock the orientation of a 3D view also remains the same. When a
3D view is locked, you can tag items in the view. You can zoom and pan in a
locked view, but you cannot orbit the model.
