parameters can appear in schedules but not in tags (see Figure 6.23 ) .

Using the Calculated Value feature of a Revit schedule will create a
parameter to hold the value, but this parameter is not added to the
properties of elements or the Project Parameters list. It appears only in the
schedule where it was created and nowhere else.
Whethertheyaresharedparametersornot,projectparametersarerequired
for scheduling system families such as duct, pipe, or cable tray. It is easiest
to create these parameters when you are building the schedule for such
elements. Once the parameter is created, you can access it from the Project
Parameters button on the Manage tab to add it to other categories or make
