2.4 Data base state
The
database state
changes every time the database is updated. A database is always in one
specific state. For example, these states include ONLINE, OFFLINE, or SUSPECT. The
following are few the database states:
ONLINE: Database is available for access. The primary file group is online
OFFLINE: Database is unavailable. A database becomes offline by explicit user action
