deciding suitability and adaptability of any technique towards fusion of a large
number of images.
It is also important to understand how each of the bands contribute towards the
final result. We provide several modifications to analyze the fusion techniques
based on how the constituent bands participate in the process of fusion.
We compare the performances of the fusion solutions discussed in this monograph
(Chaps. 3 , 5 - 7 ) in Chap. 10 using some of the measures discussed in Chap. 9 . This
chapter provides an extensive performance evaluation of all these techniques using
several datasets. We also compare the performances of these techniques with some
of the commonly adopted techniques for visualization of hyperspectral data.
We draw conclusions from our work, and also provide possible future extension
for the same in Chap. 11 .
