ACTIVITIES ON MALOLO LAILAI
Activities at both Musket Cove Resort and Plantation Island Resort are available to non-
guests and include waterskiing, parasailing, banana rides, sport fishing, island-hopping
trips and surfing. Subsurface Fiji offers a full range of scuba diving courses including
PADI Bubblemaker for kids and Nitrox. Thousands of tiny reef fish congregate around the
sand bar, a kilometre offshore in Malolo Bay, but you'll need to join the snorkelling trip
by boat to get there, organized by all resorts on Malolo Lailai.
For sailing or speedboat charters, the best option is Take a Break Cruises ( 925 9469,
takeabreakcruises.com ; F$60 per person, up to six people), based at Musket Cove Marina.
They also offer organized dolphin-watching cruises on board the luxury sailing catamaran
Take A Break (Mon-Thurs 9.30am-12.30pm; F$90, minimum 4 people).
The activity bure (daily 8am-5pm) beside Musket Cove Marina rents out bicycles for

round or F$27 including golf clubs and balls). Several holes run parallel to the beach (the
longest is only 329 yards) and with nice sea views it makes for a pleasant walk.
