Vuda Marina and around

On the brow of the hill past Viseisei village, a scenic road turns left and runs for 3km to Vuda
Point , home to a marina and two small boutique resorts. A kilometre further down the road,
and beyond the unattractive oil storage tanks, is Vuda Marina , considered the safest anchor-
age for yachts in Fiji. There's a general store and café (daily 7.30am-4pm) here, as well as a
restaurant .
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: VUDA MARINA AND AROUND
By ferry Ferries from Vuda Marina run to Beachcomber Island (daily; 25min), Nanuya
Island Resort (daily; 2hr 15min), Octopus Resort (daily; 1hr 30min) and Treasure Island
(daily; 20min).
By bus The city bus to Lautoka arrives at the Vuda Marina police post. Arriving by bus from
Nadi, get off at the Vuda Point junction.

to the marina and fronting a pretty coral-sand beach, this luxurious resort has magnificently
mature gardens boasting huge rain trees and decorative mosaic pathways. Bure accommod-
