Landforms
Origin
Erosional agents attack the beds differentially in sedimentary rocks in the general
sequence from resistant sandstone to less resistant shale and limestone. The resulting land-
forms relate to the warped bedding configuration and can be parallel ridges, plunging
folds, domes, and basins at macroscales.
