Slope Failure Plane Sensor
Application and Instrument
A simple, low-cost instrument, a 2-m-long rod on a steel fishing line, is used to locate the
failure surface in a moving mass (Brawner, 1975).
Installation and Operation
A borehole is made through the sliding mass and a 2-m-long rod on a steel fishing line is
