will know that I write other things as well, like topics. At
present I am working on a thriller involving terrorists, an attack on military bases in Alaska
and the United States Coast Guard. For research purposes I contacted the Captain of the
Medium Endurance Cutter
Alex Haley
stationed in Kodiak, and in August Commander
Craig Barkley Lloyd invited me down for a tour. When I got home I found an email invit-
ing me to accompany them on their next patrol of the Bering Sea.
