Option
Description
Root page title
The title of the new page that will contain the content of
your Word document.
Import as a new page in the
current space
Select if you want a new page to be created with the
specified title.
Replace <current page>
Select if you want to replace the current page; the title
will be renamed to the specified title.
Delete existing children of
<current page>
The children of the current page will be removed.
Rename imported page if
page name already exists
Rename the new page if there is already a page with the
same title in the space.
Replace existing pages with
imported pages of the same
title
Replace the existing page when it has the same title as
the imported document. Page history will be preserved.
Remove existing pages with
the same title as imported
pages
If an imported page has the same title as an existing
page, then the existing page will be removed.
Split by heading
Create a new child page based on a heading.
Please note that once imported, the page is no longer connected
to the original Word document, and the new page and its content
should be updated and edited directly in Confluence.
