In-Depth Information
When you edit the page again, Confluence will display a message stating there is
an unsaved version of the page, and ask if you would like to discard it or continue
with that version.
Drafts are only available for unsaved pages. If you accidentally cancel
your edit session, all changes are lost because the drafts are removed too.
Changing the draft interval
By default, Confluence saves a draft of a page that is being edited every 30 seconds.
As Confluence Administrator, you can change this.
1.
Browse to the Administration console (
Administration
|
Confluence Admin
).
2.
Choose
General Configuration
in the left-hand menu.
3.
Edit the settings and change the value in
Draft Save Interval
.
Resuming editing a draft
If you want to resume editing an unsaved page or blog post, you have two options:
• Using the draft view:
1.
Click on your avatar in the top-right corner of the navigation bar.
2.
Choose
Drafts
from the drop-down menu.
3.
You will see all the drafts Confluence saved for you.
4.
Click on
Resume
, next to the relevant draft to continue editing.
