Choosing an anchor name
An anchor name should be descriptive of the section you want to
link to. The anchor name can include spaces. Confluence will remove
those spaces when building a URL to the anchor. Remember that the
anchor name is case sensitive, when building your link.
To link to an anchor, perform the following steps:
1.
Open a page in Edit mode and place your cursor at the location where you
want to add the link.
2.
Choose Link in the editor toolbar, or press Ctrl + K .
3.
Choose Advanced and enter the anchor name into the link textbox.
4.
Enter the link text that will be displayed on the page.
5.
Click on Insert .
Use the following syntax when typing the anchor name:

Don't use anchor links for a table of contents. There is another macro
that can generate a table of contents for you; this macro can be inserted
by using the macro browser to search for Table of Content .
