Although there are no lake views as such, this
Aboriginal-owned park is one of Kakadu's best with a range of tropical-design bunga-
lows set in lush gardens. The doubles share a communal kitchen, bathroom and lounge,
and also come equipped with their own TV and fridge, while the 'bush bungalows' are
stylish elevated safari designs (no air-con) with private external bathroom that sleep up to
four. No pool, but one is planned and Jabiru public pool is only 50m away.

An impeccable resort/caravan park with shady, grassed sites and a
lagoon-style swimming pool (movie nights by the pool on Fridays). Self-contained cab-
ins sleep up to five people but are booked up well in advance. There's also a bar and bis-
tro.

Known
locally as 'the Croc', this hotel is designed in the shape of a crocodile, which, of course,
is only obvious when viewed from the air or Google Earth. The rooms are clean and
comfortable if a little pedestrian for the price (which drops considerably during the Wet).

Along with the golf
club, this low-slung hangar is the place to meet the locals over a beer. The bistro meals
are surprisingly adventurous (try the tempura croc tail with bean salad and chilli ketch-
up), there's an outdoor deck overlooking the lake and sports on TV.
