Spring Gully Conservation Park RESERVE

Spring Gully Conservation Park features blue-gum forest, red stringybarks and 18m-high
winter waterfalls. There are plenty of bird twitters, critters and trails too.
Old Police Station Museum MUSEUM

2-4pm Sat & Sun) The 1850 cop shop and courthouse is now the Old Police Station Mu-
seum, displaying Victorian clothing, old photos, furniture and domestic bits and pieces.

person per night $44-99; ) About 12km north of Clare is this beautiful 170-year-old
homestead, still a working 3000-acre sheep and crop farm. It was once SA's northern-
most settlement, with 50 staff, a church and a school. Accommodation is in simple,
clean, renovated heritage buildings (one to four bedrooms, some with shared bathrooms).
You can feed farm animals, take an audio tour (per person from $11) or have a dip in the
pool.

Watervale (it's a little hard to find − ask for directions), Battunga has four modern apart-

fires. This is beautiful country − undulating farmland studded with huge eucalypts.
