Ionic liquid

Because of the molecular structure they melt at much lower tempera-
tures compared to salts.

Life-cycle analysis

A life-cycle analysis of a process is aimed to obtain a comprehensive esti-
mate of the overall costs or environmental impact of a process, starting
from building the factory and ending with the disposal of all chemicals.

Limestone

Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed largely of the minerals calcite
and aragonite, which are different crystal forms of calcium carbonate
(CaCO 3 ). Limestone makes up about 10% of the total volume of all sedi-
mentary rocks.
