is worth a look. Page through books featuring color photos of the political murals that dec-

Asad,corrugatedstructurecalled the Peace Wall runsablockorsonorthofFallsRoad
(along Cupar Way), separating the Catholics from the Protestants in the Shankill Road
area. The first cement wall was 20 feet high—it was later extended another 10 feet by a
solid metal addition, and then another 15 feet with a metal screen. Seemingly high enough
now to deter a projectile being lobbed over, this is just one of 17 such walls in Belfast.
