Dingle Bay Charters
From April to September, this is the one-stop clearinghouse for everything afloat in
Dingle. Their Harbour Cruises (€10, 1 hour, daily at 12:30, 14:30, and 16:00) are an
easy introduction to the gentle bay and may well include a sighting of Fungie the dol-
phin. The Blasket Island ferry (€30, see “Getting to the Blasket Islands” on here ) gets
hikers ashore to explore the island. The popular three-hour Eco Tour circles the Great
Blasket Island, highlighting the birds and sea life of the peninsula (€40, daily at 11:00,
weather permitting). Sea Fishing Excursions include all the fishing gear you'll need and
vary in length (€25/2 hours, €45/4 hours, €75/8 hours). For an additional €10, you can
take your catch to John Benny Moriarty's Pub (on the waterfront; see here ) where they'll
cook it for you to eat that evening. Yacht Charters and Boat Rentals round out their
guerilla flotilla (office around corner from TI, tel. 066/915-1344, mobile 087/672-6100,
