Rugby Crowds: The Kinsale Rugby Sevens Tournament draws dozens of teams and hun-
dreds of loud and proud rowdy rugby fans on the first weekend in May (with its asso-
ciated Bank Holiday Monday). If you're not up for the scrum, then scram.
Banking: The two banks in town are Allied Irish Bank on Pearse Street and Bank of
Ireland on Emmett Street (both open Mon 10:00-17:00, Tue-Fri 10:00-16:00, closed
Sat-Sun).
Internet Access: Your best bet is Elasnik (Kinsale spelled backward), on Market Square

Post Office: It's on Pearse Street (Mon-Fri 9:00-13:00 & 14:00-17:30, Sat 9:00-13:00,

Laundry: Take your dirty duds to Elite Laundry. They'll do an average-sized load for
about €12 (Mon-Fri 9:00-17:30, Sat 10:00-17:00, closed Sun, The Glen, tel. 021/
477-7345).
Market: Check out the lively open-air market on Wednesdays from June through Septem-
ber (7:00-14:00) in the parking lot across from St. Multose Church. This location may
change on short notice—ask at the TI.
Bike Rental: Mylie Murphy's rentsbikesfromahandyspotneartheSuperValu(€10/day,
Mon-Sat 9:30-18:00, closed Sun but arrangements can be made for pickup or drop-off,
shorter hours in winter, tel. 021/477-2703). They can recommend paths good for bik-
ing or walking that stretch around the harbor. For the best short-and-scenic route, bike
past Charles Fort and two miles along the harbor to its mouth. Get other suggestions
from the bike-rental shop.
