One of the best meals on the island is an Indonesian rice table,

and this is an excellent place to try it. Come for dinner when the selection
is more extensive, about 20 dishes. Vegetarians can eat well here. It's best
if you come with a group, so you can try a bit of everything. You do your own
seasoning, so the dishes are spicy only if you make them so.

Drop in for a quick lunch or take-out dinner when you're in this area, just
east of the city. (It's next door to the Maduro & Curiel Bank in the center of
Salina.) The burrito-like rotis are excellent, and made from fresh chicken
or shrimp. The curry is also tasty and you have a selection of vegetarian
dishes.

the southern USA. Unless you're in Texas, where Mexican food includes

and super desserts at The Ribs Factory. If you plan a cozy evening at home,
most dishes can be prepared for take-out.
