Reservations at dinner highly recommended
The Avila Beach is where the Dutch royal family stays on visits to the
island, so expect the best at the hotel's main restaurant. Lunch is casual,
but don't show up for dinner in shorts and flip flops. While the staff is
friendly and puts everyone at ease, you'll be out of place in anything other
than island chic attire after sunset. The chef is Scandinavian, so Danish
specialties appear on the menu, along with Continental and Caribbean
favorites. Make your reservation well in advance for weekend “Specialty
Nights,” which often feature live entertainment.
