(CASHA) inspects member properties to
guarantee consistent quality and traditional comforts. Most of these inde-
pendently owned facilities are considerably less expensive and many have
cooking facilities. Several suggestions are listed below, and you can check
out others at the CASHA website, www.apartmentscuracao.com.
Grand-opening specials and event-related deals are going on as the island
continues to rev up its tourism engine. Activity-specific packages, all-
inclusive prices, and air-car-tour-accommodation rates are also available,
and may save you money, but take time to do the math before you book a
vacation that may not meet your expectations and needs. Sometimes, you
can put together your own package at a lower cost.
The following listings are recommended as good choices within their class
based on location, price, and facilities. Summer and shoulder-season rates
will be lower, sometimes by as much as half, and you can get excellent last-
minute bargains year-round.
