out equipment (tank, air, weights and belt are typically included in the
price), $60 for an introductory resort course, and $350 for certification
courses.
Most resorts and dive operators offer packages that represent big savings
for divers who want to spend a lot of time in the water. If you have all of
your own equipment, you can get a tank-and-unlimited-air package that
will allow you to dive wherever you wish, as often as you wish, for $20-$25
per day. Most operators add a 15% service charge, and all add a 5% govern-
ment tax to quoted prices. Be sure to ask if the service charge (tip) is added
automatically before you book.

All dive shops on Bonaire are well equipped, have excellent safety records,
comply with Marine Park regulations, and offer competitive prices. Most
conduct certification courses, and many are staffed with multilingual
guide/instructors. Differences among those listed include frequency of
trips (especially night dives), type of boat, availability of shore-dive excur-
sions, and staffing of the boat while divers are in the water.
