Off Route 23 from Pakse to Paksong, signposted1km east of Tad Fan; follow the dirt track for 800m to reach
the falls ∙ 10,000K, plus 5000K for a car
Head east from Tad Fan for 1km along the main road and you'll see signs for
Tad Yuang
,
a spectacular dual cascade that's popular with picnicking locals and tourists. The dirt track
from the main road is very bumpy (so take care if you're riding a motorbike). You'll need
to climb down some steep steps to reach the swimming hole below the falls. When we last
visited the only accommodation here - a cluster of bungalows at the top of the falls - was
