For SID = KB2 and listener port = 1527, this command syntax will be as follows:
When this command is executed, the database is restarted, log switches are performed,
and a control file and init<SID>.ora file are written to the extract directory as shown. Please
change the parameters, such as SID, listener port numbers, and password, as per your sys-
tem. For some of the UNIX flavors, such as Linux, the password may need to be enclosed in
single quotes for the command to be executed successfully.
