5. Expanding the SAP ERP section on the left will give the sizing tables for user- and
throughput-based sizing on the right. The next step is to fill in the user count informa-
tion and throughput information gathered from business teams and click the Save but-
ton.
User-Based Sizing
In user-based sizing, user count information is entered in the active user sizing table as
shown in
Figure 24-3
. Three categories of users are defined in user-based sizing. SAP re-
commends a distribution of high, medium, and low (10%, 15%, and 75%) user distribution
if actual distribution is not known.
