BRBACKUP to the Disk
When a new SAP system is installed, you have an immediate need to take a complete offline
backup to save your installation, post-installation, and any additional configuration work
that has been done. In the initial stages, the backups may have to be performed manually us-
ing BRTOOLS. Once the environment stabilizes the backups may be integrated with a third-
party enterprise scheduling tool such as Autosys or Control-M. The following procedure
will explain in detail how to take a complete offline backup manually using BRBACKUP.
