Changing the HTTP Port
After the installation is completed, sometimes you need to change the http port number to
overcome port conflicts at the customer sites. In
Figure 15-10
the http provider service port
number has been changed to 80. This will be effective after the Java cluster is restarted.

NetWeaver Administrator Tool (NWA)
NetWeaver Administrator is a browser-based tool delivered along with the SAP standard in-
stallation. With the NetWeaver 7.1 release, NWA officially replaces Visual Administrator. In
addition, Software Deployment Manager (SDM) is no longer available; their respective
functions have been integrated into NWA and JSPM, respectively.
The NWA tool is started by executing http://<hostname>:<port number>/nwa. For ex-
ample, you can launch the starting page of the NWA tool for hostname venus with port num-
ber 50000 by using http://venus:50000/nwa as shown.
