Profiles Read and Override Sequence
Default parameters are in the source code (kernel) and are read first at the instance start. If a
user makes any changes to the default parameter, either in the default profile or instance
profile, then that overrides the source-code default parameter. The parameter read sequence
is as follows:
1. Source code (kernel)
2. Default profile
