Customers have to create their own transport layer as a first step in the configuration of
the transport routes in the system. Once in change mode in the route editor, click the create
button (
F
6). This will show the following screen where you enter the custom transport layer
starting with the letter Z. Click the green check mark to save the newly created transport
layer.

Consolidation Route
Consolidation route configuration helps to move a released change request from a develop-
ment system to a quality assurance system. You can create a new consolidation route by put-
ting the cursor on the transport routes and clicking the create icon (
F
6). You will see the fol-
lowing screen showing the entries that have to be made to create a consolidation route.
