Contents of the SAR files
File successfully transferred, decompressed and then deleted indicates that the extraction
has been completed successfully.
If there are several support packages and they are large, it is recommended to move the
SAR files to the /usr/sap/trans directory of the SAP application server for extraction and
loading.
Figure 7-13
shows the location and extraction of a couple of SAP support package
SAR file archives.
