ABAP Support Package Application
One of the most important post-installation tasks is applying ABAP support packages.
ABAP support packages are bundles of source code corrections and bug fixes developed by
SAP on an on-going basis, and are released to customers on a periodic basis. SAP releases
the support packages as a stack, and they should be applied as such. The most current sup-
port package stack can be downloaded online from SAP Service Marketplace at ht-
tp://service.sap.com/sp-stacks. ABAP support package stacks are downloaded as SAR files
(SAP archive files) and use the transport mechanism setup noted earlier to import the source
